My Poetry

Always

The rain falls lightly,
And I think of you.
I remember the days,
We would sit here and talk.
I remember the tears,
As we cried late at night.
I still feel the hurt,
When I look in your eyes.
Do you feel the pain,
We tried so hard to hide.
Do people notice,
As they just walk on past.
People tell me your gone,
But I still see you with me.
I talk to you every day,
And you always reply.
They tell me I am crazy,
That I need to move on.
They tell me no one is with me,
I guess they can't see you.
But I know you're here,
By my side as always.
I don't care what they say,
Maybe I am crazy.
I know that you died,
I was there
Holding your hand,
Crying one last time.
But I can't let you go,
And I still hear your voice.
I know what you'll say,
You'll tell me who cares.
Who cares what they say,
You'd shout from the rooftops.
And so I say for you,
Who cares.
This is who I am,
Maybe I am crazy.
Maybe I am the sanest person
here,
Who knows.
All I know is that in my heart,
You are still here.
Next to me,
Always.
